MY BIRTH STORY
7.15 am Woke up & prepare to go to work as usual.
8.00 am Sent Lil Rachel to my mum's place.
8.20 am While walking to the pick up point to wait for company's bus. Called Dear Hubby that having some sharp pain at the pelvis area.
8.45 am to 11.00 am Having sharp pains for 2 mins in every 20 min to 30 mins interval.
2.00 pm to 4.30 pm Continue having sharp pains for 2 mins in every 20 min to 30 mins interval.
7.00 pm - 7.30 pm Having more & painful pains for 1 min in every 5 mins to 7 mins interval.
7.35 pm Unbearable. Called Hubby to come back to pick me up. But he needs at least 2 hours to do so cause he needs to hand over his Guard Duty to another personnel.
(Hubby was on Guard Duty on that day, 18 Sept 2008. Lil Rachel will normally stay overnight at my parent's place whenever Hubby is on Guard Duty.)
7.40 pm Called my Daddy for help. As Hubby cannot make his way back home.
7.45 pm Quickly went to take my shower. At the same time, was calling my dear friend, Tona. While talking to her, I started to bleed. Oops! Symptons of birth....
8.10 pm Dad picked me up & rush his way to KKH. While on the way there, I was moaning in pain.
8.35 pm Reached KKH & walked myself up to the Delivery Suite alone....
8.50 pm In the Delivery Suite Room. Get myself dress up & ready for the real thing!! Mid wife checked, I was 5 cm dilated.
9.00 pm to 9.25 pm ALL BY MYSELF. Screaming in pain. Took laughing gas. It didn't help at all. But the gas makes me "high"!!
9.25 pm Hubby finally reached!!
9.45 pm Dr Wee came to see me. Seeing me in pain. He requested to give me epidural.
9.55 pm Had epidural. Still 5 cm dilated.
10.15pm to 11.30 pm Enjoying laying down watching TV & at the same time called my friend Tracy to chat.
11.40 pm Mid wife checked, I was fully 10 cm dilated. Called Dr Wee to come down & get ready.
11.45 pm SMS my friend, Tracy that I m preparing for labour.
11.50 pm REAL THING starts now....
With screaming + 3 pushes.... Baby Regine is out!!
12 midnight on 19 September 2008.
